Trixxie Morella breaks down explosive new track “Dyke Lil Wayne”

Hailing from the Northeast and the Dirty South, Trixxie Morella embodies the differences between her two hometowns: she’s eloquent — incredibly witty, in fact — and great at storytelling, but don’t get it twisted, she can certainly get raunchy with it.

The latter is what she tapped into with “Dyke Lil Wayne,” a boisterous cut that is “inspired by the sexy hoes.”

Lyrically, however, it’s down to two people; the legend whose name is in the title, and Cupcakke.

“Cupcakke and Lil Wayne influenced this track a lot as they both have a knack for expressing explicitly sexy feelings with a very witty pen,” Trixxie explained. “I wanted to make something that felt true to me and reminded me of my Louisiana energy: sexy, ominous, big, Black, queer and powerful.”

The target audience for “Dyke Lil Wayne,” according to Trixxie, is the aforementioned “sexy hoes.”

“Honestly, I wrote this track in hopes to get me some groupies,” she said. “This song is a cheeky, lustful yearning song for all the sexy lesbians. I really wrote this to make sure all my groupies are listening.”

Next up on the list for this fantastically eclectic creator? She’s dropping merchandise, which will feature her cover art that was solely designed by her, with hoodies and tees set to be available for purchase.

Otherwise, it’s only up from here for Trixxie Morella!
